Lady Conquerors Defeat Atmore Christian

WFBA had all cylinders firing on offense on Saturday, winning big over Atmore Christian 17-1. In the first inning, WFBA got their offense started when Addison Johnson homered on a 3-0 count, scoring three runs. WFBA scored eight runs in the second inning. Johnson, Mackenzie Tucker, Shelby Ward, Evie Fredrick, and Allie Whiting all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Whiting was credited with the victory for West Florida. She lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out five and walking one. Claire Croley threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Elizabeth Terry took the loss for Atmore Christian. The bulldog went four and a third innings, allowing 17 runs on ten hits and striking out five.

WFBA collected ten hits on the day. Johnson and Tucker all collected multiple hits. Johnson led the Lady Conquerors with three hits in four at bats. WFBA didn't commit a single error in the field. Stella Moore had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
