Boys Defeat ECS 19-1
Kaleb Prouse was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Friday, driving in five on three hits to lead West Florida Baptist Academy past Emmanuel Christian 19-1 on Friday. Prouse drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.
The Conquerors tallied seven runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Logan Fisher, Prouse, and Wyatt Lunsford, a sac fly by Sawyer Moore, and a double by Noah Beard.
Kyle Prouse was the winning pitcher for Conquerors. Prouse allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Rileys Ith took the loss for Emmanuel Christian. The bulldog went one and two-thirds innings, allowing 14 runs on ten hits and striking out two.
West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors Varsity scattered 15 hits in the game. Lunsford, Fisher, Prouse, Beard, and Parker Byrd each managed multiple hits for West Florida . Prouse, Fisher, and Lunsford each collected three hits to lead the Conquerors.
Eric Davis led Emmanuel Christian with two hits in two at bats.
